From Atlas’ Mom in Carlisle

Atlas

We requested George’s expertise with our 3 y/o Bulldog/Boxer Mix, Atlas. We rescued Atlas in October, 2018. Atlas came from an extensive case of physical abuse — He was extremely underweight (34 lbs) and had extensive skin/wound injuries. We had to have one of his canine teeth extracted due to it being fractured from being hit in the head with blunt objects. The rescue wanted to press animal cruelty charges, though the owner(s) were never found.

Today, we are happy to report Atlas is now 80 lbs, happy, healthy, and on the road to a more even-temperament all thanks to George.

Overall, Atlas adjusted well to our home (all things considered). However, after he seemingly “settled in” after about 6 months, we began to notice behaviors as a result of separation anxiety. He would actively seek household items to chew (pillows, blankets, clothing) and become very vocal in one of the owner’s absence (incessant whining, barking, and pacing throughout the home). At first, we took Atlas to Obedience Classes but quickly realized he needed more individualized, specialized, and professional intervention – and boy was finding George our long-awaited answer!!

George arrived and within minutes we could see a difference in Atlas. It was almost unbelievable at first. As if we were seeing magic unfold, at times. George had Atlas walking using his loose lead method with little to no issues on the first go-around. Atlas was walking as if he walking this way all his life (he wasn’t!!). By the time the female owner walked him, Atlas continued to walk with ease with minimal to no distractions and no pulling. It was a completely new but welcomed experience.

The focus drills and behavior modifications George taught us were, by far, the most efficient at getting necessary results in behavior modification. Weeks of Obedience Courses could hardly touch what George addressed and eventually resolved within our hour session.

The night following the session, and with us doing one more focus drill in the evening, Atlas’ energy/anxiety levels were non-existent. With continued practice of what George taught us, we have all gained confidence and assurance in knowing that we can have a more even-tempered, less anxious companion – and this is what ANY and ALL dog owners should strive for.

It was very clear that not only did George know his stuff, but he thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the session. His passion literally shines through his teachings and interactions with the dog and clients. He makes these experiences look so easy but you’re quick to realize that when you follow his instruction, it can be easy! He was very patient and receptive to our questions and concerns and resolved our biggest pet/owner issues within LITERAL SECONDS.

I cannot stress enough how much time, energy, and potentially money George has saved us. Our only regret was not being able to work with him sooner. We are happy to continue working with him and will never hesitate to recommend him to other dog owners searching for reprieve.

SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY and book with George. I can almost GUARANTEE that with continued practice of his techniques, your (and your furry companion’s ) lives will become much easier. It is very clear why over 80% of his clients require only one session!
