What dog training certifications do you have?

As a dogologist, my expertise lies in the comprehensive study of dogs and they way they interact with each other, people, places and things. With a rich background of collaborating with over 3500 clients and their Veterinarians, many of whom manage multiple dogs, my experience stands out in the realm of dog training. What sets me apart from other trainers is my unique blend of skills acquired over 25 years as a professional instructor. I’ve imparted knowledge in combat and lifesaving techniques, covering a diverse range from high-threat driving and self-defense. My instructional journey spans across various audiences, from everyday individuals like soccer moms to law enforcement and the armed forces, at state, regional, and federal levels. Our approach to dog training is not only revolutionary but also presented in a dynamic and unforgettable manner.

What are your hours?

Our office is open from 9-5 PM M-F, we offer appointments at 10 AM, noon, 2 PM, and 4 PM M-F. We do not work weekends or holidays.

How far out are you booked?

Typically, our 4 and 6 PM appointments are typically booked 4-6 weeks out. If you can train at Noon, 2, 4 and 6 PM we can usually get you in the following week or sometimes even the current week.

How many sessions do people normally need?

That depends on several things such as the person (family), the dog, and what your goals are. Some people just want a dog that does not run out the front door and pull on the leash. Others what a dog trained to the point where they can take them everywhere they go. Other dogs have reactivity or aggression issues that require more work.

Do you charge for extra dogs?

We thrive on the joy of working with packs. Delighted to demonstrate the art of walking two dogs simultaneously with ease on loose leashes, we make it an enjoyable experience. Should you desire extra sets of leads for your convenience, they are available for purchase at $60 each.

Do you work with aggressive dogs?

We don’t just handle reactive and aggressive dogs; we specialize in working with them. We have worked with hundreds of reactive and aggressive dogs. We will tell you which you are working with and the best plan of care to keep them, people, and other animals safe. We won’t BS you on this. Beware of trainers that come in and toss treats to make friends with the dog. This does not work.

Can my whole family attend the training?

We highly encourage the active participation of all individuals involved in the dog’s life in our training sessions. This approach ensures a more comprehensive understanding and allows everyone to grasp the training concepts effectively. However we will concentrate on the person who is primarily responsible for the dog.

What if I cannot remember it all?

Throughout our appointment, information will flow abundantly, and we understand that it might feel like drinking from a firehose. Simply observe and listen attentively. Following our session, we will provide a comprehensive follow-up with videos and written instructions covering everything we discussed. Join our exclusive client-only group, where you can ask questions and access training materials such as videos and articles tailored to those familiar with our Focused-Based Canine Training System.

Out of State Request For Training

This form is used to compile information for out of state clients.

  • Personal Information

  • This helps us get a better all around picture of your dog’s environment.
  • Dog Information

  • Tell us all about your dog. What do they do that you like, what do they do that you don’t like, what do you want them to do? Too much information is better than too little.
  • Whether yes or no please explain
  • It happens, do your best to explain the circumstances. If you answered yes, please make sure that prior to answering the door for us you have a Baskerville Muzzle on your dog. We will take it off as soon as it is appropriate. This keeps us and the dog safe.
  • We know there are a lot of dog trainers out there, we are interested to know what made our clients choose us?
  • We are only two people; Lisa runs the office and George trains the dogs. If you submit your appointment and don’t hear anything within 12 hours (excluding weekends) call Lisa at 717-693-2085. Once Lisa gets a submission, she will e-mail you the offer of an appointment based on the day and time your requested. We do our best to communicate by e-mail so that nothing gets lost in translation. We are old and forget stuff.
